CertificationExams and assessment

Exams and assessment.

SAIG assessment measures not only knowledge but also its application in a work context. The rigour of assessment increases with the level and the associated responsibility.

The three assessment forms

Knowledge, scenario and practice.

Depending on the level, SAIG combines three assessment forms. Higher levels add forms rather than replacing them.

  • Knowledge test. Standardised digital test with multiple-choice and short open questions, marked automatically against a fixed pass mark.
  • Scenario assessment. Written analysis of practical scenarios covering privacy, bias, verification and escalation, marked against fixed rubrics.
  • Practical assignment. Completion of a defined AI workflow in a controlled environment, with double marking and assessor calibration.

Independent decision. The certification decision is taken by SAIG's board, independently of whoever provided the training or conducted the assessment.
