About SAIG › Why SAIG exists
Why SAIG exists.
Since Article 4 took effect, every organisation must demonstrate AI literacy. But without a shared standard, "demonstrable" means something different to everyone.
The problem
An obligation without a yardstick.
Organisations invest in training but cannot compare what a result is worth. Employers, supervisors and the labour market lack a common language for AI literacy.
The solution
An independent, testable standard.
SAIG issues that standard and certifies the individuals who meet it — independently assessed, verifiable and mapped to the legal requirements. "Demonstrable" thereby becomes unambiguous at last.
Context — June 2026About 17% of European organisations have a formal AI policy in place (ISACA, 2024), while enforcement of Article 4 begins on 2 August 2026.
